One amazing night in Beijing

Oh well, i bet u guys cant believe wad i did in PEK. I went partying!! haha^

And it was fun. =)

Totally unexpected trip cos I was only planning to meet my gf from Emirates who is doing PEK on same day n we check in at same time at the same hotel n somemore we stay on the same floor but we're from different airline!!

How coincident can tat ever happen??

And then, on flt, this probation gal jio party n i was like 'hUh?' I've partied in Shanghai several times but nv in Beijing but to me, not going means no love lost to me as well.

Nevertheless, u guys can check out 工体北路. its a stretch of clubs over there and I went to 唐会. Its a relatively medium size club, plays rNb music. drinks are cheap too. 6 of us paid 200+ rMb each.

2 GS, 2 FSS, 1 CHSS n 1 Emirates FSS outside the club.

We spotted this white Fairlady n I jus need to take it to show my bf. Jus so happen it became our favourite photo!! =)

And moving on, we went for supper at 鬼jie1. Its a stretch of restaurants that opens 24 hrs and we hop into this restaurant for steamboat n it is freaking nice!!! Best steamboat i ever had!! Even better than the ones i had in SIN!!
Oh my... N the best part is each of us paid 40 RMB only!!!
How great can that b?? Omg!!

Fyi, this GS acted in Moulmein High a few yrs back. Not sure if any1 of u rbers tat show but I
did!! Funny guy he is who tells me he is actually very scared of me on flt!!!

Yes...! You'll never walk alone. =)

Apparently the FC club store seems everywhere in town and its reali majestic as compared to the poor Everton which I shall not mention abt it.

They had literally anything and everything with Liverpool printed on it.

And for Liverpool fan's, u can make ur very own T-Shirt with ur name. Or rather for Liverpool wannabes....!
Now i shall present the real thing to u..........

The actual home ground!!!

Pls dun forget ur student pass cos u can get significant discounted price!! NTUC card oso can cos apparently some ppl use it as
Nanyang (or National)
Technological
University of
China
Yes... u can use this to fake ur way thru!!! lOlxx
Let me walk u through the FC cos 'You'll Never Walk Alone'...! =)

I've got no idea who's playing in Liverpool but this FSS told me tat Torres is the star player n he's extremely cute n hot. So, I've got no choice but hug his shirt (n smell it). Haha..
DuHzz!

According to another crew who said tat its players will touch this sign as they run out to the field.
Obviously I had no idea such a culture exist but i did it for photo taking purposes. ;p

This should be a familiar sight to all. Whenever the players or whichever arse gets interviewed, he's bound to stand here.

Take a peep into the Away team dressing room....

Theres literally nth at all!
Oh.. and here's my cute n hot tour guide who looks better in real life of cos...!

VIP seats tat r jus too priceless.

Finally here's the grand field. But honestly speaking, i din 'WOW' or 'WAH'' upon looking it for the first time cos even Chelsea has got a bigger field i tink.

The normal seating tat aint cheap either.
The man behind the scene making the grass looks pretty all the time.

The boring museum of the victories of Liverpool.

Their friendly match against Juventus.
All in all, I find tat LHR is much more interesting and happening as compared to MAN.
JC 99 coming up folks.
C all the rostered on 3 Nov!!!
CheerssS!

Theatre of Dreams Revisited

Just touched down from Manchester in the wee hours of the morning and still feeling very groggy from the lack of sleep inflight.

I didn't expect this trip to be more enjoyable than the previous but the fact is I enjoyed myself very very much. Primark is such a shopping haven with marked down prices for items similar to the likes of H&M, Topman, and many other fashionable labels! It is very addictive indeed. If anyone needs topcoat, it's the best place to get it and they have very cool designs too!!!

3 girls wanted to make a trip down to Old Trafford Stadium and I decided to play host. The last time I was there, I only managed to grab a seat in the North Stand as it was match day and the other compounds are not open for tours! I told myself that I shall not miss it this time round and a revisit to the Theatre of Dreams sure opened up fresh perspectives never witnessed on my virgin encounter with it. Going to the backstage of the playing field that created renowned sportsmen who drives the world crazy is a truly amazing experience indeed. And I didn't know they were such superstitious folks. They stick to the same seating arrangements in the changing room for example.

The Quays within the Old Trafford Centre vicinity and near the Imperial War Museum is a factory outlet with some marked down merchandise. My main purpose was books. A Nicholas Sparks bestseller could go as low as 1.99 pounds and for bookworms like me, it's a real bargain!

The Bank is a waterhole cum makan joint recommended by one of the FOs (Hey! I bumped into my secondary school cum JC classmate on this flight and her bf is an FO.). He claims that they serve very good fish and chips. How to resist? So it's off to the Bank to deposit my pounds and trade it for a very hearty portion of fried fish fillet with mashed peas and chunky chips. Yumz! Slurpz! Droolz! 'Nuff said. =P

What a layover I must say, and I look forward to this continuous journey of many other possibilities! ;D

I almost drove nana nuts with this song during our hkg-sfo! I played it like every hour, every min, every moment we were on our laptops. And soon enough, both of us were humming this song throughout the remaining sectors of our flight. Haha. So here goes. I have to share my love!

Our lovey dovey HK SFO trip

finally i tink its time i blog about me and nette's HK SFO trip!
we've finally got some pics as compared to that nrt-lax one which was pathetic, so let pics do the talking!

by the way, sfo is getting abit chilly so remember to bring ur jackets!

Nette has been craving & craving for the SFO dungeness crab ever since we landed in HK on the 1st nite.. & so fisherman's wharf is a must-go! I cant quite remember the shop's name, but it was 1 of the shops at the fisherman's grotto area(as u can see). We had clam chowder and fresh steam crabs! *slurps*

alright, this is 1 of nette's classic shots throughout the trip. =/

Anyways, 2 crew brought us there, vincent & sherlyn - really super nice couple!

my 1st attempt to look like a drunkard but according to nette, i look like i was playing the flute.
& so i tried harder....

we had cold stone creamery ice cream too. totally YUMmilicous.. considering nette had it for 2 days despite her cough.

& on to the land of 买东西吃东西!

i require my daily dose of an egg tart..

& my favourite 猪扒包!
people, please do visit the famous macau restaurant there..
they sell e bestest 猪扒包 & curry man, u can really see it on my face =p!

We also went to 血拼 at fa yuen street / agryle center.

*ahem*... u see what i mean?
Something we had to do when we were in hk was to kind of regularly stop by some eatery & grab something to eat on the way, even if we just had our meal like 2 hrs ago...

take a closer look at nette again!
& did u see my 2 pinky zits??? i reckon i must haf worked damn hard on the sfo-hk sector haha

We caught a late night movie "Connected" cos we were so bored!
Sleeping just doesnt justify our precious time in HK.

Anyways dats about it, hpfully there're more posts to come! =P
