Theatre of Dreams Revisited

Just touched down from Manchester in the wee hours of the morning and still feeling very groggy from the lack of sleep inflight.

I didn't expect this trip to be more enjoyable than the previous but the fact is I enjoyed myself very very much. Primark is such a shopping haven with marked down prices for items similar to the likes of H&M, Topman, and many other fashionable labels! It is very addictive indeed. If anyone needs topcoat, it's the best place to get it and they have very cool designs too!!!

3 girls wanted to make a trip down to Old Trafford Stadium and I decided to play host. The last time I was there, I only managed to grab a seat in the North Stand as it was match day and the other compounds are not open for tours! I told myself that I shall not miss it this time round and a revisit to the Theatre of Dreams sure opened up fresh perspectives never witnessed on my virgin encounter with it. Going to the backstage of the playing field that created renowned sportsmen who drives the world crazy is a truly amazing experience indeed. And I didn't know they were such superstitious folks. They stick to the same seating arrangements in the changing room for example.

The Quays within the Old Trafford Centre vicinity and near the Imperial War Museum is a factory outlet with some marked down merchandise. My main purpose was books. A Nicholas Sparks bestseller could go as low as 1.99 pounds and for bookworms like me, it's a real bargain!

The Bank is a waterhole cum makan joint recommended by one of the FOs (Hey! I bumped into my secondary school cum JC classmate on this flight and her bf is an FO.). He claims that they serve very good fish and chips. How to resist? So it's off to the Bank to deposit my pounds and trade it for a very hearty portion of fried fish fillet with mashed peas and chunky chips. Yumz! Slurpz! Droolz! 'Nuff said. =P

What a layover I must say, and I look forward to this continuous journey of many other possibilities! ;D
